Out and About With Cubs - 2006
Are you ready for this ..... we've had a really fun year with the Cubs, and have taken part in some new activities as well as our old favourites.
In a Nutshell: we've made aeroplanes, recycled, held an Italian Night, had a go at archery, learnt knots, visited the local newspaper offices, made pancakes, went swimming, held quizzies, made cards and Easter baskets - ate the eggs!!, attended St George's Day Parade, done tracking, learnt songs, went pond dipping, learnt about the Red Cross, attended the County Cub Birthday Party, went horse riding, held a Charity Concert for Red Cross, joined in with District Cub Camp, had a bike ride, built shelters, went to the local park, had a barbeque evening with Souts, Beavers and Parents, kept ourselves fit, had a Pack Camp, joined in with the Shoebox Appeal, had another go at knots, tried making puppets, been ice skating, learnt about cycle upkeep and safety, played loads of games, went to Megazone, joined Scouts on December Camp and held a Presentation Evening where we gave out loads of badges and awards!
