Out and About With Cubs - 2007
We really excelled ourselves in this 'Scouting Centenary Year' and had fantastic fun doing it.
In a nushell: we made up some stories, learnt how to be healthy, met some Explorers and found out about Serbia, visited a church, planted some trees, went swimming, covered hazards in the home, went archery, made pancakes, met some intersting pets, went sponsored bowling, made a poster, listed some important numbers, went Easter camping at Belchamps, learnt about Comic Relief, attended St Georges Day Parade, went recycling, used a compass, ate chinese food, went Back to Basics at Hargreaves, went ice skating, learnt the country code, met a Cub from Australia, cleared ditches, made a poster about conserving energy, did orienteering and firelighting, attended Centenary Camp, went on a hike, played over the park, had burgers and fun at Thriftwood, attended Sunrise Promise, had a day at Greenwich, played games, did potato printing, cleaned and plastered grazed knees, attended Kubadoo, wrote some letters to Cubs in Australia, looked round an ambulance, learnt CPR, went weekend camping at Thriftwood, had a night bike ride, made puppets, attended Cub Carol Service, went to Megazone, camped with Scouts at Downe and held a brilliant Presentation Evening!!
AND .................................. 2008 already looks just as jam packed!!
